
The 873AEC analyzer is Foxboro’s most economical solution for basic electrodeless conductivity analysis. The 873AEC is line-powered.
Each 873AEC analyzer provides a single electrodeless sensor input, one analog output signal (4-20 mA, 0-10 V, 0-20 mA), and two alarm relays.
The functionality of the 873A is similar to that of the 873, however the configuration menus are simplified and there is no lock/unlock function.
A choice of plastic, panel-mount or metal, field-mount enclosures is available. Each enclosure is ¼ DIN. The metal enclosure is rated NEMA 4X, while the plastic enclosure is NEMA 12 from the front and NEMA 1 from the rear.
The 873AEC may be configured to measure either in units of conductivity (e.g. mS/cm) or units of chemical concentration (%). Several standard temperature compensation and chemical concentration curves are pre-programmed for the most common applications.
873AEC analyzers are compatible with 871EC, 871FT, EP307 and EP402 series sensors.
