The EP466 Series is a family of insertion-type combination pH sensors operated in conjunction with an easy-to-use ball valve insertion assembly. The sensors are available in full-range domed bulb, 0-14 pH, or the ruggedized flat bulb, 0-13 pH range.
The EP466 sensor is contructed of chemical resistant PVDF. Ball valve assemblies, specified separately, are available in either 316 ss or PVDF material. A double junction reference electrode with self-pressurizing electrolyte resists contamination.
The insertion assembly is designed for pipe or tank installation using standard 1½ ” NPT connector for weldalet or pipe tee process connection. With its adjustable insertion depth design, the final mounting dimension of the sensor can be optimized in the field.
When used with an 870IT transmitter or 875 analyzer, the EP466 sensor allows for most sensor diagnostics, including broken electrode, aging electrode, reference junction coating, temperature compensator and others.
